Visual Storytelling

When we moved from Spain to that house in the country on Rodeo Road in Santa Fe, I'm certain my parents did not envision their daughter running across the street to the veterinary clinic every moment she could escape the mundane routine of being in the house. Well suited to my early nomadic nature, the veterinary clinic provided excitement, variety, and an opportunity for me to work my way up the ranks from stall cleaner to Veterinary Technician.
During that time, I saw life, I saw death and I saw the love that humans have for their horses. I, too, fell victim to the "bug" that bites so many young girls. What is it about horses that is so captivating to a girl's heart? The freedom? Companionship? Absolutely. And strength and beauty, of course. There are so many reasons we fall in love with horses, all valid, all palpable, and all incurable. The love affair we have with horses never gets old, and it's a story that needs to be told.
